Why We Exist
In Kenya, women make up 70% of the agricultural labor force, yet they own less than 2% of the land and have limited access to credit and modern farming technologies. This inequity, compounded by the effects of climate change—including more frequent droughts, floods, and erratic rainfall—has left many women in vulnerable positions, unable to secure their livelihoods or invest in sustainable practices. As climate change intensifies, these challenges are only becoming more pronounced
